How to Use iPhone 6 as Personal Hotspot

The actual iPhone 6 will be able to work as a personal hotspot, as with every similar iPhone, however in iPhone 6 there’s a new option to work Instant Personal Hotspot. This means that when you need to connect a iPad or other device with your iPhone 6.

This feature is great if you have children and are on the road, meaning they cannot stream their cartoons on their iPad without internet connection (unless their iPad has built-in wireless service, of course).

You need to turn it on before it shows up in the main settings screen.

• From the home screen, tap Settings > Cellular > Personal Hotspot.
• Slide the switch next to Personal Hotspot to turn it on.
• Follow the onscreen instructions to connect.
• If you’d like to change your password, simply tap Wi-Fi Password, enter a new password, and tap Done.

After you do this once iPhone 6 adds a shortcut to the main settings menu for faster access to the iPhone 6 hotspot settings and to turn the feature on and off.

All that you really need to perform is turn the iPhone 6 hotspot on and then enter the password on the device you want to connect with and the devices will connect so you can start using it to get online.
